It’s no secret that the string and cable system needs to accurately tie the limb and cam system to the arrow for any chance of a predictable and accurate outcome at the target.

Through our proprietary processes we have been able to achieve what others have not. Backed by three decades of precision string manufacturing experience, Podium Plus Competition Bowstrings® provides superior product with forward looking technology that is designed to compete and perform at the highest levels through precision manufacturing and innovated design and painstaking attention to detail.

Introduced in 2012, we developed WinRZ90X®, (Pronounced winners90X). Made from proven 100% Dyneema fibers, but in a NEW stronger incarnation of this fiber, the strongest material EVER introduced for bowstring use, is the latest SK90 grade Dyneema. Using BCY 8190 Universal bowstring material and our Proprietary Halo serving (PodiumBraid), allows us to offer the Strongest and Most Accurate system available!

The WinRZ90X® series does not change dimensionally at any point through the pressure changing power stroke as the bow goes from brace height to full draw, so in reverse on the shot, the arrow will now receive an exact departure shot after shot. There will be less lock time (the time between when the cam and limb fires that the string system starts moving the arrow) so the efficiency and accuracy is raised to a higher level.

That coupled with Volumetric Contraction Processes (VCP), PodiumBraid Servings (PBS), and the Extreme Serving Tension Management (ESTM), and our other methods all combine to give not only a lot less rolling resistance to again further raise efficiency level and speed, but also a by product not found in other strings is the reduction of horizontal oscillation and deviation of our string as it travels forward to brace height from full draw, we call Str8Line Technology (SLT), how much reduction varies, but a reduction nonetheless. This could be the difference between a win or a pat on the back in today’s competitive arena.

This reduction is also what allows OUR durable and accurate system to retain speed characteristics, on other strings to make up for these shortcomings; you will find noksets or weights of some sort by the cam to help increase speed. These weights are strategically placed there so when the bow is at full draw, on the shot it tugs at the string at this strategic location to reel in the string more smoothly to reduce the horizontal frictional path of the string, especially when shooting at or near 5 grains/lb, so you are with this method gaining back only half of what you are really losing, but looks like a speed gain nevertheless.

We feel our way is better, technology has led us there, refuting the dogma to use speed weights to increase speed, and hence some of the revised methodologies and technologies spoke about in the home page.


All that combined with the following:


Our systems are built under an undisclosed amount of tension we found works best, in fact MANY hundreds of pounds, where up or down 10 pounds sends us in the wrong direction! Every string and cable has the exact tension on every strand, so no strand bears more of the load than another. Another of the processes that aids the Absolute Strand Tension Management (ASTM) mentioned above is the Strand Alignment Process (SAP), so that every strand is parallel to each other, again causing none to be longer or shorter than another, bearing the load equally. Our Volumetric Contraction Process (VCP) evacuates, if you will, all voids molecularly between both the strands and serving to allow for the tightest servings in the industry! These previous methods enable our MAX Rotational Resistance Index (MRRI), eliminating peep rotation in any conditions! Pre-Twisted under extreme load to exact dimension required, and checked many times at each station, is our Exact Length Assurance Process (ELAP).

The PodiumBraid end loops and servings, cap all this off as the toughest, most durable we have come up with, done with our CoolArc Serving Method (CSM) which allows us to serve our servings tens of pounds tighter than any previous method, in fact the methodology is so awesome, and we have to keep it under wraps! The QuadLock Serving Ends (QSE) keeps the servings in place with no separation, and lastly, our EnviroLock Technology (ELT) keeps the elements out. All these technologies work together in harmony due to our painstaking Sequential Process Technology (SPT). At Podium Plus Competition Bowstrings® quality control is exhausted at every level.
